SR Interviews The Independent Speculator on Why 2021 Should be a Record Year for Commodities

SR’s Daniela Cambone asks me for my outlook on speculations for 2021. We cover my reasons for expecting inflation to win out over deflation and why that’s generally bullish for all commodities—but not equally. We get into some specifics on oil, copper, nickel, lithium, and uranium, as well as gold and silver as commodities and monetary metals. Daniela asks about the potential for another major economic downturn this year, if this might at long last be silver’s big year (green new deal, etc.), and digs in deeper into my thinking about Bitcoin. (I’ve now written the article about Bitcoin mentioned: Bitcoin: Genius or Madness?) Lots of ground covered in less than 20 minutes.

Note, this interview was recorded before the #WallStreetBets vs. #SiverShortSqueeze issue exploded onto the global financial stage. In my view, this is a good thing, as it outlines the case absent any help from Reddit.
