This interview is more than a month old now, but I didn't see it posted on YouTube until just now. Predictably, my warning against assuming gold has bottomed generated a lot of hate in the comments. "This guys caling 3500k gold, he says 3500k ..ok Lobo ! Hey great call,,smart guy ! Now 4300... wow so smart..." (Typos in the original.) But anyone who listened to what I actually said knows that I made no such call. In fact, I spent considerable time reiterating my bullish base case at the beginning of the interview before issuing my warning that gold could—could, not would—go lower. And then I said we need to watch the data. That makes this flashback interesting, in light of gold topping $4,400 again. This is material, and if it continues, it will change my near-term outlook. But be forewarned; it won't change my insistence on buying low.
