FSN’s Kerry Lutz kicked off this interview with questions about inflation, which, as ever, is a vital topic for all investors. The conversation then took a turn into areas I don't often discuss, including the fantastic excuse that COVID-19 has become for economic mismanagement, the mistake of thinking that economies are driven by consumer confidence, the alarming levels of hatred between red and blue in the US, and why I would not bet against America—which is not the same thing as the US government. It was an interesting conversation, if less focused on specific metals and other commodities than usual.
