Queen’s Road is something like a holding company that is currently trading like a uranium stock. But the idea is to invest in top quality assets that have what it takes to become a mine. The company just happens to be a substantial investor in NexGen Energy and ISO Energy, to high-profile uranium plays. But there’s also copper, zinc, and silver in the play. But why buy QRC shares when we can just buy the companies it invests in and reach for max alfa ourselves? And, while I love the pre-production sweet spot (PPSS), none of these projects are in it yet, so why invest now? And how does a relatively young company that does nothing but lend/invest and cash out end up with an Australian number of shares issued and outstanding? I dragged CEO Warren Gilman into the pit to ask him these and more questions.
