I’m not a “chartist.” I invest based on fundamentals. But of course I keep an eye on the charts and think about the patterns I see in them. As it happens, clients keep writing in to ask what I think about Michael Oliver’s technical analysis. My clients tend to be quite savvy, so I figured it was worth digging in. And I have to say; Mike’s answers to my questions all made a surprising amount of sense to me. None struck me as evasive or in contradiction of my own knowledge or experience. Perhaps I’m showing a bit of bias in being surprised by this... At any rate, I found the conversation insightful and valuable. I hope you do as well.
