Donald Trump’s Nuclear Fuel Working Group (NFWG), established last July after the president was encouraged to boost US uranium production by the Department of Commerce, is supposed to have reported its recommendations to him by now. We’ve had no word, but there’s been no official postponement as there was in October. There have been leaks to the press, however, that the NFWG has recommended that the president order US agencies to buy more US uranium.
The president has had a lot on his plate, including impeachment, but his overdue decision could and should be announced any day now.
This being the case, I decided to pull together and update my takes on all the uranium companies I’ve covered and publish a uranium-focused bonus edition of My Take. This way readers will have them all in one place when the news is announced… or whenever uranium prices start moving if there’s no big announcement.
