In this Liberty and Finance interview, Elijah Johnson asks me about the most important trends I see in motion. This is big: the world is changing before our eyes. It's not just supply chains disrupted by CVOID-19 lockdowns and the war. The geopolitical landscape is changing, and with it, the global economy. That includes the realities on the ground for commodities, energy, and mining. Gold and silver have particularly important roles to play, but so do copper, uranium, and other minerals.
Note that I have friends and family directly affected by the fighting in Eastern Europe, so I don't want to come across as insensitive. But I didn't ask for war, or for a New Iron Curtain—and yet here they are. Both as human beings and as investors, we need to deal with the cards we've been dealt and the probabilities for the cards yet to turn up.
I hope you find my remarks helpful.
