The New Iron Curtain has Major, Long-Term Implications for All Investors

My title for last weekend's Speculator's Digest was: "A New Iron Curtain Descends." That was no mere rhetorical flourish, but my best description of a paradigm shift I see happening across the world today. A key point is that while the most heated part of the war may be over soon, the sanctions are not likely to end any time soon. It may start with geopolitics, but it is already becoming a critical economic issue sending inflation higher and productivity lower. This has major implications for all investors. Kitco's David Lin called me to dig into this thesis. His main interest was the gold part of the story, as gold just hit $2,000 per ounce again (which I had said was coming). But this megatrend will impact silver, oil and gas, uranium, agricultural commodities, and on and on. This was a great conversation I highly recommend to all...
