INN's Charlotte McLeod tossed out her playbook after my talk at last week's New Orleans Investment Conference. That wasn't because I tweaked the official title of my talk, "Confessions of a Reluctant Guru," to an unofficial title of: "Don't Be a Sucker." It was because I had a very different answer to the "highest conviction speculation" question this year than last year. We covered some macro issues and other things as well, but my main hope for you is that my call for 2024 works out as well as my call for 2023.
