Lyn Alden: Stagflation, The US Dollar, Gold, Uranium, Copper, and Other Commodities

My favorite macro analyst is back with an update on the US and global economies. We started with Lyn's economic outlook (which remains for stagflation), then got into the weeds a bit with what just happened in the UK with the gilt market breaking and what that means for the US and other countries. Gold bugs take heart: Lyn has not given up on our favorite yellow metal. But like me, she's a big fan of uranium, the "other yellow metal" as well. As for other "energy metals," like nickel, she deferred to me on that. Her take on Japan's impact on the global economy was not what I expected and, as usual, share brought up several other ideas I'd not considered before. High value for me, and, I hope, for you.

Ed. Note: We ran into some connection issues and had Lyn re-do her answers in places, but there are still some lags we could not edit out. The information is solid, however, so we've decided to go with what we have. We apologize for the noise.
