Dave Forest, an old friend and fellow newsletter writer, has gone off and started a new Uranium exploration company. Why would he do that? And while his project looks high grade for uranium outside the Athabasca Basin, it's not likely that Canada will suddenly join Russia on the other side of the New Iron Curtain, so why bother? And even if Canada did decide to sell all its uranium to China or other counties, aren't there US producers with idled mines waiting to come back online? I cut Dave no slack on my questions, and he had some interesting answers…
Reminder: I do not accept payment from issuers. I do these interviews free of charge to cover stories of interest to my readers. These interviews should not be seen as recommendations or endorsements. I try to ask the hard questions any investor should ask, but it's up to each of us to give careful thought to what we make of the answers. (No arm-twisting, but we do cover companies I interview in My Take.)
