Adriatic was a silver-primary pre-production sweet spot (PPSS) play that delivered early for shareholders and then started going into reverse as the market softened and the company experienced delays just before the finish line. Given that the mineralization is mostly zinc with a big silver byproduct and that I expect a deepening global recession to be bad for industrial metals like zinc (and perhaps silver), I went ahead and exited, rather than stick around for first production. I like the company a lot, especially because it keeps discovering more high-grade zinc-silver right next to the zone already scheduled for mining, but experience suggested to me that the wisest course would be to collect my relatively modest gains and step out of potential harm's way until we see if the new mine delivers as advertised.
